Catholic Schools in Greater Salt Lake City
Parish elementaries and two Catholic high schools of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, from the Avenues and Holladay to Kearns, Riverton, Draper and Tooele.
Funding note: Most Salt Lake and Tooele Catholic schools in our directory appear on the 2026-27 Utah Fits All list; the diocese adds its own Skaggs Tuition Assistance Program.
The Diocese of Salt Lake City runs twelve schools in Salt Lake and Tooele counties: ten parish elementary and middle schools plus Judge Memorial and Juan Diego. In our October 2026 match, all twelve appeared on the approved 2026-27 Utah Fits All list, and all twelve also appear on USBE's Carson Smith list, so parish families can choose the scholarship that fits each child.
After the $8,000 Utah Fits All award, the diocese's Skaggs Tuition Assistance Program is the next place to look; it helped 154 students in 2024-25. Ask the school office how it counts the award when it sets aid, and whether registered parishioners pay a different rate.
Where they are: Salt Lake City (5), Sandy & Draper (3), West Jordan, South Jordan, Riverton & Herriman (1), West Valley City, Kearns & Magna (1), Tooele County (1), Millcreek, Holladay & Cottonwood Heights (1).
